I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas, license # 41437. The Texas Board of Social Work Examiners is the regulatory body for all social workers in the state, and can answer any questions you may have regarding licensure.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

I started my career as a therapist at The University of Texas Counseling and Mental Health Center in Austin, Texas. There, I gained extensive clinical experience in both individual and group therapy, working with a diverse population of college undergraduate and graduate students with a wide spectrum of concerns (including eating disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, body image, and trauma). I started a private practice in 2005, and have worked exclusively in that setting since 2007.

During my graduate training, I worked as a therapist at Del Valle High School with adolescents ages 14–19, who had a diverse range of concerns (including disciplinary issues, academic problems, parental conflicts, teacher conflicts, teen pregnancy, and substance abuse).

EDUCATION

I received my Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
